Smooth Out The Wrinkles
A little bit of self-reflection for the Smooth Challenge.
Smooth out the wrinkles of our troubled past
With honesty, transparency and will to change
Smooth out the wrinkles of my missteps, mistakes
With a will to change, forthrightness, taking responsibility
Smooth out the wrinkles of the hurt and pain I've caused
With me taking responsibility for my actions, owning my flaws and working to
Smooth out the wrinkles in our troubled past and present
For a better, brighter future

Great work, Pal! I love the thought of missteps being a wrinkle (we all have them) and sort of smoothing them out as we see them. What a great concept! Fantastic entry!
Time heals and also transparency, yep love that! Good work Paul!! 😊👍
If we all do this it will be a better brighter future! Good job.
Oooo, I love the things that you suggested we smooth out here! Awesome poem! 🍩🥐 If you have a minute, or three, drop by my place (my profile) I have a new horror story that you might like. I could have used that for both your horror challenge and Rick's unrelated challenge. But Mr Brain loves being fashionablely late. Lol!
The only kind of smooth talking & behavior that's worth a hoot.
Excellent. Nothing is wrinkle free, but you've got to see them to smooth them.
so beautiful and great advice to everyone. love it.
