i burn for the touch -
the heat of summer’s sun, blazing down is barely enough,
as blood is still cold, when the surface is warming up;
with these hands, i cover me, in comfy polyester fleece,
pretending, this blanket is, a human soul with layered skin,
smelling like vanilla and cinnamon,
the scent of Autumn’s unnatural aroma.
Skin to skin, heart to heart,
i bathe in the warmth of another;
deep inside, this body feels.. whole once more.
