*******************************************
Sisters since seventy-nine
Accepting each other from the beginning
Standing up for each other
As if we were biologically connected
No one knew we weren’t blood-related
Because we were as close as sisters could be
Two the same age and one four years older
Sharing clothes and toys
Sleeping in the same little bed
The older, more of a sister/mom
While the two younger forged a bond as deep as twins
Further proof that kids don’t need blood to be kin
