When I said use me as you wish

I had hoped the universe would be a little more gentle

I was wrong

There is no yellow lights here

Or stop signs

She does not see speed limits or traffic

There is only the destination

Often I have no idea where we are going

But I get in anyway

Desperate to have a place

Somewhere I belong

To call home

That feels less like a parking lot

More like a driveway

If you need to use

Then do so

In whatever way you see fit

All I ask

Is that you hold me when you're done
