In a world of screens and ringtones,
Where everyone's attached to their phones,
I'll tell you a story that's sure to amuse,
Of the device we love, and sometimes abuse.
--
Once upon a time, in a busy town,
Lived a smartphone named Silly, wearing a crown.
With buttons for eyes and a touchscreen grin,
Silly was the quirkiest phone within.
--
Silly loved to chat, day and night,
Texting, calling, always in flight.
It couldn't resist a selfie or two,
With filters that made it look oh-so-cool.
--
One day, Silly fell in a lake so deep,
Its circuits went wild, it couldn't even beep.
It tried to dial, but instead, it tweeted,
"Help! I'm all wet, and feeling defeated!"
--
People gathered 'round, phones in hand,
But Silly's suffering was truly unplanned.
It auto corrected its cries for aid,
"I'm jelly, small pet, and shining with glaze."
--
The crowd scratched their heads, fully confused,
Reading the tweet left them feeling bemused.
They thought Silly had gone quite insane,
And its soggy situation was to blame.
--
But Silly kept going, determined to thrive,
With its touchscreen wet and its circuits alive.
It tweeted emojis of raindrops and smiles,
And the town folk laughed for miles and miles.
--
So, the lesson we learn from Silly, the phone,
Is to laugh at yourself, even when alone.
In a world of tech that can often confound,
Remember to keep your sense of humor unbound.
--
For life's too short to take it too seriously,
So accept the quirks, both yours and your phone's, quite cheerily.
With a smile on your face, and a tweet that's absurd,
You'll find that laughter is the best four-letter word!
