I like to think Your voice comes in whispers
Falling on my face like shadows in the breeze
Designed and laced with sovereign lights and fixtures
Is it true, as small as I am, that You can see me?
I used to believe blindly, now I play in the dark
But nothing would bring me more comfort
Knowing You're there, listening to my heart
That in the midst of the womb, You knew me first
I scream, but I get no response
Science and logic whisp me away
Scream back for once! So, I know You're not gone
This time, when You come, won't you please stay?
I do crave You, yes, this is true
But I know not of the divine
Are You hiding in plain sight or shades of blue?
Or are You waiting there for me
On the inside?
Love always,
Chayle
