Silent Love

The Pain of Unrequited Love

By THIAPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Unrequited love, a burden to bear,

A heart filled with longing, an unanswered prayer.

I give my all, yet it's never enough,

My heart aches, for a love that's tough.

I watch you from afar, admiring your grace,

Dreaming of a love that can never take place.

The pain of loving someone who can't love you back,

Is a wound that never seems to heal or slack.

I wish to tell you how I feel,

But the fear of rejection is all too real.

So I keep my love a secret, locked away,

Hoping that someday, it might find a way.

But until then, I'll bear this cross alone,

A love that's unrequited, a heart that's unknown.
