Pick it up

Pull it back

1.. 2.. 3..

Ahhh

We’re here to end

End at the beginning

Of a story, never told

A silenced voice

Have you ever been so gripped

By the dark

In a world

That’s all your own

The small metal fate

Of a lonely heart

Of a story, never told

A silenced voice

The cold will come to find you

Wrap itself around you

When you fall

It’s all your own

The cold and watery fate

Of a lonely heart

Of a story, never told

A silenced voice

It happens everywhere you go

A love, a life, it’s lost

Too strong, that fate

Too weak, the hearts around

The rounded, woven fate

Of a lonely heart

Of a story, never told

A silenced voice

Watch the signs, feel the words

Don’t shrug or laugh it off

This times for sure

Say it to yourself

This is not a cry for attention

But a cry for help

Of a story, plenty told

A silenced voice

sad poetry
