HES JUST TIRED
She waits by the window praying he will come home.Through teardrops and
laughter he swore she’d never be alone. But for the first time, she realizes that
he may be gone
She’s tired of hoping. She’s tired of praying. She’s tired of crying. She’s just tired.
Now night has falling,he isn’t calling, another lonely night.
Whiskey on the table, she drinks hoping she can see the light.
She cries in the darkness thinking it don’t seem right.
She’s tired of giving. She’s tired of greiving. She’s tired of believing. She’s just
tired.
Daylight is coming and she hopes it will ease the pain.
Drinking and crying She says to herself there’s nothing to gain.Stares out the
window in time ro see the snow turn into rain.
She’s tired of waiting. She’s tired of loving. She’s tired of living.
She’s just tired.
