She Longs to Be His World

A love poem

Her heartbeats rise like the morning sun

Unfurling warmth throughout

Awakening senses of floral bouquets and

Ever brightening visions of love

Dew drops trickle

Scattering pulsing vibrations

On nerve endings

Planets align with the turn of a head

She sees the moon in his eyes

Tastes the milky drops of

Galaxies on his lips

Like candied heaven

Floating on a cloud

Carried on the wind

Through time and space

With him, in his dimension

Never to fall back to earth

Because she doesn’t need to

She will live with him

Soar with him forever

Beyond the constellations

Into the great unknown

She longs to be his world

She knows he is her universe
