Shall We?

This is an unexpected fourth new entry for the Vocal “From Across the Room” Challenge to be judged by Kiran Kapur, author of “Women In The Waiting Room”.
I love all the time I spend with my Muse and after we speak I always feel a poem coming on. I do find it amazing, and I cannot find an explanation for this, but I feel that I am often flooded with love from here whenever we are together or sometimes just when we think about each other.

Love was not on the menu when we met
Across the room your eyes met mine, We smiled
We moved towards each other, eye to eye
Shall we go further? Our path was then set
💓💜
Shall We? We held each other hand in hand
Shall We? We talked, moving ever closer
Shall We? We were moving even nearer
We hold each other now, We Understand
💓💜
Now Shall We Fall In Deep Love At First Sight?
We Know That It Feels So Perfect and Right
We Never Saw This Love of Ours Coming
But We Both Know That It Makes Our Hearts Sing
Across That Room It Was Love At First Sight
That Now Makes Us One, As Our Hearts Take Flight
