Shadows of Doubt
A POEM ON INSECURITIES
In the quiet depths of our mind they dwell,
Like shadows they cast their spell.
They whisper doubts and plant their seeds,
They feed on fears and unspoken needs.
They lurk in the corners, unseen, unheard,
Yet their presence is felt in every word.
They weave their web of doubt and shame,
And quench even the brightest flame.
They prey on vulnerability and weakness shown,
They magnify flaws, they make us feel alone.
They rob us of confidence, of self-belief,
And cloud our vision with their deceitful grief.
Listen closely, for there is a voice,
A voice of truth that offers us a choice.
It whispers of strength, of worth untold and reminds us that we are not alone in this .
Although insecurities may be present,
They cannot define us, they cannot steer
The course of our destiny, the path we tread,
For we are stronger than the doubts in our head.
So let us rise above, let us stand tall and face our insecurities, once and for all.
For in the depths of our being, we hold the key,
To unlocking the beauty of our true identity.
