In this life,
shadows and bones,
It's as if nothing truly known.
Blood, it surges through our veins,
Pounding like unstoppable trains.
Marrow, joints, and heart's wild beats,
A rhythm of life, where it all meets.
In our heads, the brain's in play,
A circus of thoughts, night and day.
Emotions rise, storm like seas,
Frustration, stress, bring us to our knees.
Depression, pain, both deep and real,
Physical and mental, the things we feel.
But, people, we often don't see,
The fact of life's fragility.
On this stage, we play our part,
But it's a fleeting work of art.
In the end, we'll stand alone,
With shadows and bones, our only own.
we shout, we dare,
To recognize life's fleeting glare.
The clock keeps ticking,
time's unforgiving,
Shadows and bones,
what's left for the living?
