Shades of Grey

I’m in a world of shades of grey,

Not black nor white,

There’s a light grey,

A darker grey,

A very light grey,

The grey they called it ash,

I am surrounded by it,

It’s suffocating,

It’s tiring,

Until the day you came,

And show me colours,

There’s red and yellow and pink,

Blue and green as well,

You shone brightly as the sun shines,

Everywhere I look at,

I see colours and no more greys,

You bought colours to my world,

Even after you left,

The colours stays,

It’s the act of love as you would say,

The love that you bring,

Changes my whole world,

Thank you for loving me,

Now and always.
