Send my regards to them.

Not that I really care.

But you’d like me to pretend

That I thought about them.

So, send my regards to them.

Not that it matters.

Since they won’t even remember.

We’ve separated ways

And that is okay.

Send my regards to them.

I think you’re more worried about this than they are.

There is no need to force a relationship

Between people who have grown apart.

You see, life has many pathways.

Sometimes we cross each other.

Sometimes we walk together.

And often times we divert from each other.

Once lessons have been learned,

And the purpose has been served,

People move on to their next destination.

There is nothing wrong with parting ways.

Life is just this way.

So stop trying to mend the wounds

When it was already left in the past.

Memories serve you happiness.

Sometimes, even loneliness.

But you should always look ahead

Because that’s where we’re going.

Send your regards directly to them.

Not through me.

I’ve already diverted away.

I’m moving ahead.

And maybe, I’ll see you all there.
