you might think that you are selfish for walking away but I don’t think you were
just because you walked away does not mean that you stopped caring
it took a while but you came to the realisation that it was time to take care of yourself
it was time to choose yourself and put yourself first and sometimes that means that you have to leave some people behind that did not have a care about you
because you put all your time and energy into them but good for you for seeing the light and walking away you chose yourself
