Searching, seeking
Looking deep into each set of eyes
Praying to find
A soulmate
Yet …
Each one
… Not …
Still, I sought
Daily more discouraged
Each search
A little less in depth
Until I hit that wall
Quit searching outward
Looked inward
There I found you
Looking back
