Sandstone Sanctuary

An ode to my mountain muse

I wandered through a rainforest to rejuvenate my soul

I was all alone, or so I thought, when I heard her call

Mother nature drawing me close to see her in her glory

Let go and listen child and I'll share with you my story,

This tree, I grew for centuries, it's a hundred metres high

One day it will get to heaven, it has already pierced the sky

See this moss covered stone, it is the brightest of green

Once cold, hard and lifeless now it the star of the scene

Fallen rain creates its own melody, it's the sweetest sound

The water drops, dances and glides as it finds the ground

Just close your eyes, open your heart, and dip your toes

There's a soul in everything here when you listen close
