Sandcastles by the Sea

A Magnificent Sight to View

By Una SavagePublished about a year ago 1 min read

There once was a beach of delight,

Where kids built castles in spite,

Of parents' alarms,

The sand was in arms,

As they dug deeper with might.

~~~~~~~~~~
The castles were large, oh so wide,
The effort was great by their side,
From sunrise to sunset,
Their work would not end,
Till the castle's walls reached high tide.
~~~~~~~~~~

The sky was clear, a brilliant blue,

The wind kept their sandcastles true,

And when the kids were done,

The sand castle shone,

A magnificent sight to view.
