I was warned of you in the early days

How you use your senses

To gauge what was going on

Under your nose

-

I was told of your behaviour

What to watch out for

When you would appear

How you were trained

-

Your existence didn't bother me

And my selfish ways

Until you made your unexpected entrance

And bit down hard

-

I don't blame you

You were marking your territory

And making it your business

That I had nothing left to show

-

I was just another b*tch

That your owner had control over

I wish I had unclipped my lead

When I had the chance
