Rollercoaster

When your brain is a mess.

I take a deep breath trying to clear my mind. Sometimes my mind feels like a rollercoaster that never ends. I take a deep breath and hold it for 5 seconds before letting all the air out. This usually helps me calm down.

Sometimes I wish everything was perfect and nothing would ever go wrong, but that's not how life works. If it was then life would be awfully boring. I know I'm strong enough to overcome the fears tying me down.

I'm strong enough to overcome the rollercoaster in my brain. I continue to work on myself a little at a time. starting with breathing exercises, coping mechanisms, distractions, and therapy.

After all, is said and done I feel the rollercoaster slowing down and eventually it stops. It will go again sometimes but now I have the breaks to it knowing that I am in control.
