I'm an amateur writer who hopes to become a professional writer in the future. I mainly enjoy writing fiction and reading!
My Childhood Friend And I
"Mom!" I shriek, running into my moms arms. My mom wraps her arms around my petting my head, "what's wrong Lilly?" I sniff and look up at my mom, "why do I have to be friends with peter!" She petted my head some more, "what happened this time?" "He's an icky boy, I want nothing to do with him! Plus he pulls on my ponytail," I whine. My mom sighs, "Susan." Susan approached with her son Peter next to her, "yes?" "The kids are fighting again." Susan knelt down, "kids you both need to learn to get along because you'll always be in each other's lives."
The Secret In The Woods
I huff running through the woods. I'm trying my best not to be found. I know if they find me it's all over. If they find me ill never be able to leave again, I'll never be able to talk to anyone again, and I'll never see him again. I need to see him. He's my light in the dark. I need to be with him and no one will keep me away. Not the village elders, not father, not my sisters, and not the man I'm supposed to marry.
It Started In The Sea
The water always felt amazing to me. I hated being on land. I hated the heat of the sun, the heat of the sand, and the wind. In the water, you can't feel any of that. All you feel is the water moving your hair, touching your skin, and the salty taste. The water is where I belong and where I live. Everyone else wants to go up to land and have fun. They want to run, walk, dance, and just have a good time. Going to land is like a vacation for us merpeople. I always preferred going to another part of the sea for my vacations, though.
Love in the snow
I look at the sky seeing snow fall around me. My whole body feels cold and numb to the touch. I don't fully understand what has happened. One minute I was at home, and the next, I was here. All I remember was inviting a young woman in for tea, and the next thing I know everything went black, and I woke up on the brink of death. I have no idea how long I've been here, but all I know is that I most likely won't leave.
The reaper sighs as he makes his way to the next soul. The house he stood before was brown and luxurius. The garden was full with a small path leading to a table and chairs with flowers lining the path. The reaper smiles as he sees the beautiful garden. For some reason gardens always brought a smile to his face. How rediculace right? A reaper loving flowers.
I huff as I stumble through the cave. I've been stuck in here for a few years. Originally it was meant to be a challenge to get stronger and learn to live off the land. I was supposed to be down here for exactly one year. When I went to the exit, it was blocked. My "friends" blocked me in after I entered. They wanted me dead I just wish I'd known that before.
Nicky huffed as sweat dripped down her face. All her mussels felt heavy, and her steel dagger even heavier. She couldn't tell if she would die where she stood or come out victorious. Strands of her dark black hair had fallen out of her ponytail, her clothes had tears in them, and she had cuts on her forehead, thigh, and shoulder. Even so, desire burned within her emerald eyes.
The Creature And The Man
"Ahhhh!" A young woman shrieks. "Monster!" a man yells from the crowd. "kill it!" another woman yells. All the townspeople gather, hearing the noise. "Ew, what is that thing?" a woman asks disgusted. "Let's chase it out," A man suggests. "no, the only way to take care of it is to kill it," another man says. All the townsmen gather with pitchforks and swords. They all surround the monster. The monster slowly tries to back away but to no avail. They have it surrounded and ready to kill it.
The rabbits home
All my life, I have been misunderstood. You see, I'm a rabbit, and most people don't understand how to care for me. I live most of my days lonely in a cage outside. The cage is small and cramped and has wire as the flooring. The wire flooring is hard on my paws and causes pain.
He sniffed the side of the street, trying to find his way home. Not too long ago, his owners dumped him there. He didn't understand why they would do this, but he knew he loved them and had to find his way home. He wandered up the street for a mile. All he could think about was seeing his owners soon.
