"PSST TURN YOUR VOLUME UP":

There was a stegosaurus

His name was Rocky Jim

He found it really tricky

Each time he tried to swim

Towards the ripe bananas

He spied upon the shore

Instead he had to make do

with stones upon the floor

From gravel through to boulders

He chomped down with his teeth

But one day at the waters edge

He met a pterodactyl Keith

Fancy doing a deal mate?

He asked his friend who flew

Get me some of those bright things

And I’ll do something for you too

At first Keith thought him dodgy

This lumpy dude in green

He tried to make a run for it

But knew that he’d be seen

Instead he turned and gave a nod

How many? he said in reply

Oh I don’t know surprise me

Said Rocky Jim with a vague look in his eye

Keith grabbed a few of the yellow things

And brought them to his feet

He waited, standing awkwardly

As Rocky Jim cried how neat!

Keith said d’you know what mate,

forget it; I don’t need anything

But Rocky Jim excitedly replied

Hang on, how about I sing?

You ready? he shouted

as he looked towards his herd

He stamped a foot, the rest all turned

Without him saying a word

Some they started humming

While others swayed their tails

We’re Rocky Jim and the Yellow Things

Yelled RJ with a wail

Keith settled down resignedly

I’m not getting out of here anytime soon

He’s really quite the eccentric

Or it might just be a full moon!
