If there ever comes a time

when you feel you can offer

nothing exciting and can

describe yourself as vapid,

keep in mind even our ri—

vers do not go in straight lines

but must bend, fall, and swirl to

their environment. And as

these riffles grow, flow, gradient,

narrowing, and obstacles

team up to form rapids. I

know it seems that as our life’s

schedules form, life itself

becomes all too predicted.

Bear in mind once more, our riv—

ers do not go in straight lines,

and fastest waters occur

in the gorges where the space

itself is constricted.
