Ripples in river

Give life to reflection

Of fall’s trees,

The truth behind

A calm facade-

Current grasps

Fallen leaves

Of reds and yellows

To decorate

Ever flowing motion-

Gaining speed

Before the drop-

Ripples give home

To turbulent souls

That never find

Their sure footing.
