Reverie's Ascent

A Childlike Journey Through Nature's Tapestry

Reverie's Ascent

In days of yore, when childhood's golden haze

Enveloped all with innocence's gaze,

I'd clamber up the ancient apple tree,

Seeking vistas far beyond what eyes could see.

Twisted boughs, a labyrinth of green,

Became my stairway to a world unseen.

Each branch, a rung upon a mystic stair,

Led to realms where dreams danced on the air.

Fragrant blossoms, like a snowy crown,

Adorned my head with nature's pure renown.

Their petals whispered secrets of the earth,

Unveiling truths of cosmic wonder's birth.

Songbirds' melodies, a joyous choir,

Resounded through the branches, raising higher

A symphony of life, so pure, so sweet,

Inviting me to join their rhythmic beat.

With every climb, my spirit soared above

The earthly bounds, embraced by nature's love.

For in that tree, a gateway to the sky,

I found forever in a childlike sigh.

And though time's march has led my steps astray,

That reverie remains my guiding ray,

Reminding me that wonder never ends,

When nature's tapestry our souls attends.
