Respect to Elders

Respecting elders involves valuing their wisdom, experiences, and contributions. It means listening attentively, showing kindness, and expressing gratitude for their guidance. This respect strengthens intergenerational bonds and honors the legacy they pass down.

In the quiet hush of twilight’s glow,

Elders' wisdom, like rivers, flow.

Their eyes, a mirror to the past,

Hold stories rich, lessons vast.

With hands that weathered time's embrace,

They carved a path, set the pace.

Each wrinkle, a chapter of days gone by,

Each smile, a promise to never die.

In their voices, echoes of years,

Laughter, joy, and silent tears.

They walked the roads we tread today,

Guiding us along the way.

Respect is due, with heart and soul,

For every sacrifice, every goal.

To elders, we owe our deepest grace,

For the strength they lent, the dreams they chased.

With every nod, a bridge we build,

With every word, our love fulfilled.

In reverence, we stand, heads bowed low,

Honoring the seeds they helped to sow.

For in their footsteps, we find our light,

In their shadows, our future bright.
