On the nights that you start to lose sleep

Concerned about the commitments that you didn't keep

Or pressed by the people who are pushing you to feel weak

Know your strength lies in your resilience

Waking up weary from yesterday

Yet still searching for your brilliance

Because you know it's out there

You’re dedicated to getting what's fair

Don't focus on what they gave her

Stop and notice all the blessings that are unfolding in your favor

And on the days that you waiver from knowing your glory

Remind yourself that you are your own savior

Holding yourself high

And even as the tears fall, knowing that they'll dry

The beauty of letting yourself feel without even having to try

While existing in a world that tells you that you're weak if you cry

Don't let them confuse you

Don't listen to their lies

There is so much beauty in learning how you fly

So spread your wings and look to the sky

The sun is ready to greet you and never say goodbye.
