Replenish The Tank
A Poem On Finding Strength
My soul finds itself depleted of resources
Joy and contentment, fascination and curiosity
Forced into hiding by common circumstances of today's grind
Daily I find recent issues backing my peace into a wall
Though better than having no peace at all
//
The foundation of my perseverance and drive takes a subtle fall
Where the passing days haven't given much hope to a dream waiting for me to begin creating it
I've called on divine forces to open the doors that I cannot see
That I might be greeted with fiscal relief, and productive events requested
I leave my bed sheets in the morn, with more of my patience apparently being tested
I have invested so much time
When will my time come?
I don't know how much I have left in the tank
