When I remember Jessie,

my memories are very fond.

For Jessie was a loving soul,

and we had a special bond.

I look into my childhood,

and there she still lives.

Even though Jessie’s gone now,

her love she still gives.

When I remember Jessie,

good times come to mind.

I can leave today’s troubles

far, far behind.

What I remember most about Jessie,

was her very special way

of bringing a little laughter

into each and every day.

And when I was afraid,

she chased away the fears.

She always made me smile,

and wiped away the tears.

My memories of Jessie are special,

so, I keep them safely tucked away.

They’re in a special place inside my heart,

where Jessie will always stay.
