Mastery

via relaxation

into fluid states of matter

is a challenge to grasp.

To float ain’t easy for everyone.

Surrender body imprinted years of practiced contraction

to untold mysterious depths.

Shhhh knowledge diffused in w i d e e x p a n s e

able to deliver or drown you.

School you

on what respect for breath feels like without filters.

Struggle doesn’t serve you here.

Frustration irrespective of cause floats away.

Applied tensions extinguish life in seconds.

Tread water for a time.

How long before lactic acid build renders muscles non-functional?

*

Transferable skills.

*

Life on land a society of endless squalls.

Keep your head above freak waves of fiscal policy for beneath

currents cold

determine direction.

*

Adrenaline reserves spent.

Swallowed and spat out

by swells of rhythmic routine until it’s not

and massive clouds cower every place in you burdened by debt

and the damage democratically elected officials wreak at boat’s helm

with no intention whatsoever to stop

for overboard unfortunates

but accept online payment

direct debit

money order

and bank transfer any day of the year.

Additional shift overtime saltwater burns through your nose.

Lifelines exhausted.

Adrenaline reserves spent.

Sun near horizon.

Optimal shark feed times threaten.

Spirit sinking.

Tears more water taken.

This single resolution the most difficult.

RELAX.

Shut down and restart.

Relaxation

the

only

thing

to save you now.

Let go of your body

and become sky-filled buoyant soul.
