"Wow!"

"I've never seen you look this good!"

"Congratulations," they say.

Filling me with praise,

Numbing the pain

Of another missed meal,

And a 4-hour gym day.

"Wow!"

"I'm jealous of how thin you are!"

"How do you do it?" They sigh.

250 calories in

500 calories out

"Nothing special," I say.

"Just exercise - It's easy," I lie.

"Wow!"

"You look so good, baby," He leers.

"Get off me!" I cry.

Beefy hands wrap 'round my throat

Squeezing tighter, I choke.

The world around me blurs.

I'm going to die.

"Wow…"

"You're stacking it on again," Mum sighs.

"I'm worried for your health."

My food-laden belly bulges,

The comfort gone from my indulgence.

I am ashamed of myself.
