Where did you go
Given a measure of time
Ripped from the world
Where did you go
Your body was broken
Torn apart
Like my life after
I needed a new start
At the bottom of every bottle
You were still with me
I tried to forget you
The pain was too deep
Dishonored and shamed
I drank to forget you
Where did you go
Years went by
Love I could not sow
I saw you there
Cold and alone
My heart was splintered
Pain so deep
Only my Soul could know
The groans of my spirit
All that was left
I fell to my knees and wept
Where did you go
