Reborn

Please help me heal.

Reborn

Nights go by like birds

in flight

sweeping past me violently.

The nights are long

and cold in this little room.

The mornings so violently

real there's no time for

emotional fences.

Walking around I feel eyes

on me ever so.

Do they know?

Do they understand?

What have they heard?

I feel uneasy and sick

like my stomach is filled

with undesirables.

I want to run and hide like

a rabbit that's been shot at

but where to run?

Tick tock.

The sound of a distant clock

ticks to the sound of my heartbeat.

Fear and panic

are one in the same for me.

Not knowing the unknown

causes greater pains in me

than I've ever felt before.

Can you hear me?

Can you see me?

What have I done wrong?

Regret and anguish

are all I know.

Can you teach me how to learn?

Can you teach me the way of the

good and the pure?

Wash away this pain and fear

and tell me how does it feel to be

reborn.

Hi there! I love writing and anything really creative and so I figured I'd try my hand here at writing poems and possibly stories. Everyone needs a hobby, right?
