Rebirth – A Collection of Haiku
Inspired by Spring and the changes it brings
Change
Gentle sunlight breaks
Color comes back to the world
Spring, bounce us forward
Joy
Chestnut back flying
Jovial and wheezy song
Chick-a-dee-dee-dee
Hope
Furry creatures run
Leaping around green forests
Hoping they will – live
Blossom
Torrential downpour
Overwhelms our dark, dry land
Next – a flower blooms
Rebirth
A hyacinth sways
Flamboyant and exciting
Each bursting with soul
