Reap

Through

Has the days gone by?

Does my knowledge of lines

Not reap anymore?

I had always hoped not

There came hope

The rising sound.

Triumphant, unaware of why

I had left behind

These scribbles,

this power of words

You took time to bleed out

Like your body took to be wet under the rain.

You were hidden

In the thickness of all the shadows.

It is as if things are making it way

As if the light is crawling up this chair to me

And asking me to reap through love again

Pulling the darkest shadows within which was buried

I’m making my way

Through these lines again..
