Quiet still is he

What does he want me to see?

Being with you like a dream

One too good for me

Since I’ve blocked the silent scream

Nothing here to see

We laugh and play and love

Oh, the feeling glee

With sunshine up above

We let the darkness flee

So tell me why he hails

And what it means for me

When you try but fail

To block the memory

When shadows are abound

He gently taps on me

When you are not around

Something I should see

I walk away with him

Curiosity in me

What does he want to say

What secret will it be

But still he doesn’t say

Anything to me

Prodding as I may

Quiet still is he
