I am bleeding
But this pain eases me
I am dying
But this death
Is consoling me,
I am not crying
These eyes not widened
She said I was looking peaceful
As I departed.
Lost within her tears
The stench of pain on her breath
I know she loved me
If no other would dare,
She closed my eyes
And embraced me one last time
I was awaken in her arms
But she didn't wake me
Given a second chance
It was the pureness
Of her love that saved me.
