punctuated with

uneasy ephemeral silence

By ⸘jason alan‽Published 2 months ago • 1 min read

i do not need to know his ways

nor agree on anything.

as long as we can talk about those differences.

as long as it does not descend to chaos

as long as we decline devolution into violence.

as long as conflicts are not punctuated with uneasy ephemeral silence,

waiting for the flap of a butterfly's wing.

what i say is more than simply making noise,

for i do not wish to change your mind;

but as intermediating vessels;

a store of energetic friction;

words not intended for conversion;

but filled containers;

platforms for energetic margins;

where worlds collide;

autonomic concepts to be heard;

and we may share the weight disbursed.
