Oh, pterodactyl on the wing,
To see you soar makes my heart sing.
Though not a dinosaur as such,
Your graceful form I love so much.
Ever present in monster movies
Like 10,000 BC, your presence proves these
Representations of dino psyche
Are miles away from the image that could be
Seen if only we looked more closely
At what you were surely like in reality.
