    These haikus are great! I hate I missed the before. You know, for someone who claims they had never written a haiku before, you REALLY did a great job!! I'd written some in high school but enjoyed the challenges. LOVED this!

    I agree with J. R. Lowe, the imagery here is awesome! I also love the personification of the volcano waking. It's also really cool to see magma treated in a more positive light as a form of creation rather than only destruction. Great haiku!
