projected

to be great again

the levels of decorum

rendered discorporate.

unwanted, waste, refuse, trash,

as the boy acts

cats called doggedly

like he thinks himself a monarch,

a raiding competitor

wanting the better

of any auto-validated identity

to stay preoccupied.

senses underwhelmed by the character,

full-on distracted with ego.

full of depth without intrigue.

here forth, ever delaying gratification

for delaying the supply chain of production.

the swimmer sinking like pebbles,

a faulty cog in the machine.

keeps spinning,

oil burning,

still does nothing.

still struggling for the same thing,

just keeping observational

of nothing to see here.

don't look away!

pink elephants; orange tutus.

show your scruples:

blatant bananas, not apples.

show unawareness as a standard.

the master of entitillating

a typical complex.

a white faggot’s problem in America.

projected to be great again,

this brave new 2025.

this moment, know this:

i’d like to reflect right now with you.

so we look to see.

mirror, mirror, am i prettier‽

see the fourth glass wall

like all the three before –

a hazard for all or near nude feet.

and the people who walk those miles.

to get around the sharded facades.

and moving forward,

i’m a bit disappointed.

in all of us.

how could we not

already have this shit

figured out by now?

the only way it's about power or control

is that they are just widely accepted parameters

that value be expressed financially.

why can't making us great again

not also be stepping socially backwards.

emotional ball of sex, drugs, politics, and chaos.

taking bets on what will kill us first

climate change,

nuclear apocalypse,

artificial intelligence.

for the art of wombats in an opossum’s world.

indoctrine endocringe.

post haste, ask your shadow

why a surreal voice still matters

when it's misunderstood,

sitting on laurels.

I hope someone brought marshmallows
