Preaching on a Red Tree
A poem I wrote during a workshop in Oxford, inspired by the theme of trees.
The mighty powers work against the working class.
The gold owners make the rules, take credit for the workers
like me!

We continue to create crafting groups to nourish our soul
Creative leisure for self care idbreaking biscuits in tea.
🌲
In a capital climate where content is king, and business is power,
But power can taint the purest of hearts.
🌲
I can’t forget Mother Earth. Her heart beats with me and all of us.
Teamwork is dream work. When I hike I am the wind.
🌲
Through frugal sacrifices and vegan mindsets,
We have found a solution!
If we care for each other we care for ourselves.
Here is my; Empathy; Sympathy and Integrity.
🌲
God save our glorious leaders who cruises conquests for us.
Maybe you don’t have a God.
glorious figures are not as perfect as you think.
🌲
Far away…the poverty hierarchy is the same.
My creative streaks helps boost my knowledge of murky waters.
🌲
We should not judge until we wear their shoes.
The rule makers don’t always tuck their shirts in.
We could be fish! We could be cats!
But we are here! We are whole!

In a capital climate where content is king, and business is power, But power can taint the purest of hearts. So much of truth in these lines! Loved your poem!
