I pray for you. Too bad

That neither you nor I

Believe in healing power of prayers

We know too well what’s ours and what’s theirs

We know too well the well is running dry

Not even souls will last ad infinitum

When there’s so little to excite them

There is no mending once the weave is torn

Perhaps one day renewed refreshed reborn

We’ll realize that we were simply mad

Until such time

Whenever that may be

I pray for you. And you -

Please pray for me.
