A challenge was sent

Publicly issued on Vocal

Kelli did consent

Tee-toe-sal

The terms were agreed

A poem off it would be

Kelli said she’d follow my lead

Tee-toe-sal-si

The poetry fest began

Kelli and me, tossing words

Like comedians taking the stand

And our fans gather like birds

Waiting for each rhyme

As if it were a breadcrumb

Eagerly watching the time

Tee-toe-sal-si-dum

Kelli and me, drawing out

The anticipation of each of you

Until you, the reader, want to shout

Tee-toe-sal-si-dum-do

And just when you think

The wait will drive you crazy

You’ll get the notification link

Tee-toe-sal-si-dum-do-zee

You’ll swear one of us is a misfit

So, just you all wait and see,

As we are just winging it

Cathy, come on join our jamboree

A/N:

By mutual agreement, Kelli and I have decided to extend the challenge to Cathy. Let's see if she can bounce one back to Kelli or me and keep the flow going. Will you accept the challenge, Ms. Cathy?
