I have begged

Pleaded

Prayed

Lord, why am I still here

Why will you not take me home

Excruciating, debilitating pain

Physical, emotional

Overwhelmed

Misery

Sadness

Despair

Lord, why am I still here

You’ve answered every prayer

Forsaking this one

Lost

Confused

Suffering

Lord, why am I still here

If there is a light

Why can I not see it

If I am of use

Why can I not feel it

Unloved

Useless

Alone

Lord, why am I still here

Have I not suffered enough

A lifetime of pain and suffering

Too great a burden

Begging

Pleading

Praying

Lord, please don’t leave me here
