All of Me

A tale of true love

Your warm embrace, my sanctuary

Your passionate kiss, my vulnerability

Your eloquent words, my indulgence

Your tender touch, my rouse

My love for you; unwavering, sincere

So strong, so profound

You are my lifeblood, my universe

For no one, nothing, impresses on me as you do

My heart was not whole, until it melded with yours

My soul, laid lifeless, only to be awakened by your love

I belong to you, as does my heart, my soul, my very being

You captivated me at first verse, long ago

To abide devoid of you, an impossibility

As you did then, and always will have.....

All of me
