"It takes many forms,"

she says from bay number four

with a yellowed gaze.


"It's in tears mostly

but also in kisses, and

for a while I thought


- inside of bottles.

I can't live without it, so

I pray you have some."


"Water?" he asks her.

"Forgiveness," she says meekly.

"Can you pour a cup?"
