They come,
They go,
They fade..
All life's moments in a serenade,
Lets me touch places I've not been,
Pictures
In reverence,
A visual homily of remembrance.
A cup of chocolate on a cold day,
Inviting warmth to come, to stay.
Pan to left, pan to right,
Monochromatic and colored life...
Two dimensions cling to walls,
A shallow outline of lives in thrall...
To cold reminders..
Infused..suffused
By minds warm embrace,
To pasts we hold and don't forget.
A life record in many stills,
We touch in fondness, get our fills...
As memories,
They come,
They go,
They fade..

Born in 1958.There's a lot of road beneath these feet.Worn out pairs upon pairs of shoes.Been a ranch kid,a city kid,a Marine,a dad, a grandfather now,an avid reader and just recently began writing poetry in 2015 just to vent.
