Teach me how you do that thing with a smile as big as the sky.

Kiss me quickly, lest I see deception in your eyes.

Touch me as I crumble ‘neath warm fingers and cold heart.

Soothe me with that magic balm to wash away my scars.

Take me to a place where romance exiles seeds of doubt.

Dance with me on a stage of pretense. Swing me all about.

Tell me all those honeyed words you know I long to hear.

Hold me close and whisper your sweet nothings in my ears.

Convince me that together we can ride the moon and stars.

Teach me how to be the perfect liar like you are.
